Back to the country...
Betsy Layne, KY - where we would spend the week with Catholic Heart Work Camp.

This week we would be back in the mountains again, but things were more familiar. Michael would be working for Catholic Heart Work Camp. Since this is his third year with them, he knew what to expect going in as far as music and atmosphere of the camp. The camp was hosted at an elementary school that had TWO playgrounds. That was great because the town had little to offer in the way of entertainment (and by "town" I mean the small town that was a 10 minute drive from where we were staying). Of course the primary goal of the camp was to provide labor and services to the poor of the community - which the area was great for.
Unfortunately, on Michael's breaks we spent the week going back and forth to an RV service center (more on that later). MJMJ spent the week telling everyone his new favorite joke (you should ask him) and that his birthday was coming up! When the big day finally arrived, we spent the morning at Mr. Gatti's Pizza playing games for tickets and prizes. That evening, the campers surprised us with cupcakes and a toy for MJMJ. He loved it!
Next, a long drive back to the city - Washington, D.C.
