Welcome Edith Grace Mette!

They say there is a great need for parents of NICU babies to be screened for PTSD. Few people expect to be there and things move very quickly. I would say that our experience in the NICU with Fidelity was fairly mild, but I still had a lot of anxiety going into my induction with Edith.  I was not looking forward to the process of birth and I was worried about having a baby at the same time as a non-verbal, special needs toddler.  Thankfully, Edith’s birth went smoothly and she was healthy as can be. Michael and the girls went out of their way to make the transition at home easy. Caring for a typical baby feels a little odd after getting used to Fidelity’s quirks. Edith is growing quickly and almost crawling!
