Costa Rica
This year is our 25th Wedding Anniversary! Since Michael is on the road so much playing music, we struggled to plan a great way to celebrate. Finally, he said would give me a budget and I could choose how we honor the date, buying something nice or planning a trip. He will promise to have a great attitude about it.
I decided to travel, I just had to decide where. Sometimes, when Michael is frustrated with life, he says that he is going to move to Costa Rica and start fresh. He has never been to Costa Rica, so I had an idea for a destination. Our time would be limited, I needed to narrow down our destination to one location. I read somewhere that “you can see a beach anywhere, but if you have limited time in Costa Rica you should see it’s Rainforest.” That sounded reasonable, so I bought us tickets for La Fortuna.
I warned Michael that there were some long travel days and that I planned us a more subdued itinerary, walking through nature, but that there were some “high adventure” options if he wanted. He could see that I wanted to try and adventure and agreed to Repel down some waterfalls! It left us with a few bruises and a great story!
